We have grown from a small little art festival into a great one!

The true success of a growing art festival is the respect of the artists and their participation. That is one of the reasons we limit the size of the event to showcase the wonderful artists that have been juried to show at the event.

We also want to distinguish our event by offering hand crafted foods at our Culinary Arts Court along with live acoustic performances by local musicians. In addition to the art festival the City of Sanford has so much to offer. We are located on First Street in historic downtown where there are so may options to shop, dine and drink. We encourage you to check out what Sanford has to offer. Sanford Avenue is a great street to visit with restaurants and brewerys. We love Sanford and hope that you will fall in love with it too!
The St. Johns River Festival of the Arts recognized a need to expand our mission to bring the arts to Central Florida by creating the Art for Kids program. This program offers art instruction to students at no cost. We are pleased to have a permanent home at Hopper Academy where we will begin offering classes this summer. The St. Johns River Festival of the Arts is a non-profit organization. The Art for Kids program is funded by grants and the art festival. We thank you for coming to the event and we hope you enjoy the fine art and fine crafts that will be on display and sale for the weekend. We appreciate your support!
