Tallassee Living History and Heritage Days features the "Battles for the Armory" Civil War reenactment and the new Talisi Arts & Crafts Fair. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Battles of the Armory. On Thursday school children will experience "living history" of the 1860s to include culture, crafts, homemaking, dance, dress, battle, medicine and more. Friday will include various special activities. The public is invited on Saturday and Sunday to see a live portrayal of a Civil War battle, as well as handmade clothing, accessories, weapons, toys and even soap-making. Come see what the excitement is all about! Admission charged.
