The Grand Bay Watermelon Festival gate opens at 3:00 p.m. on July 3rd and closes at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge for admission on the 3rd but the watermelons will be chilling and wont be cold yet so we will not have the free sliced ice cold watermelon until the 4th. The food, arts & crafts, and ride vendors will be open, as well as music entertainment from our Gazebo.

July 4th the Festival gate re-opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 4 p.m. The admission on the July 4th is only $5 per vehicle, no matter how many people are in the vehicle! Walk-ins will also be charged an admission fee individually. In addition to everything available on the 3rd, the 4th will include the Pretty Baby Contest, Open Car Show, The Hope Puppets (we hope and if they get to come they will be performing at 10 a.m.), and all the free, sliced, ice cold watermelon you can eat. So come spend both days with us at our hometown Grand Bay Watermelon Festival. Youll be glad you did! Since the Grand Bay Watermelon Festival is a Family Event no smoking will be allowed inside the Festival area and no pets are allowed.
