14th Annual Azalea Festival

We are planning our 14th Annual Semmes Azalea Festival. The date of the Festival is March 12, 2016 and it will once again be held on the campus of Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes. We are thrilled to announce that the Semmes Chamber of Commerce will be hosting throughout the years to come, and we hope that we as a Chamber can continue to carry on this wonderful family and community tradition. We are excited about this event and are thrilled that it has grown so much through the years with the hard work of the community and volunteers. We look forward to seeing you there. Our plans at this point include a Childrens Area, Arts and Crafts Booths, pony rides, and many other activities. We will once again have our huge plant sale featuring Azaleas and many other types of plants. Again, we will have an azalea display to highlight our areas Azaleas and their history. We will have childrens groups and dance teams performing throughout the day. There will be numerous food booths as well. The Annual 5K Run is sponsored by the Semmes Unit of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Alabama as a fundraiser for them. As well as the annual Cruz In Car Show with proceeds benefiting the Transplant Kids..
