Welcome to "Bluegrass On The Plains", winner of the 2013 IBMA Momentum Award for New Festival of the Year @ University Station RV Resort in Auburn, Alabama. It is with great enthusiasm that we announce Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder as our featured artists for our 2015 Bluegrass On The Plains Festival. Our 7 day festival starts on Monday night and runs thru Sunday @ 1 pm. Sunday's show is all gospel and free to the public. Our outstanding line-up includes our special friends Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Gene Watson, The Isaacs, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Volume Five, Claire Lynch, Russell Moore and III Tyme Out, Blue Highway, Flatt Lonesome, Chris Jones and The Night Drivers, Breaking Grass, Boxcars, Sideline, Larry Cordle-Carl Jackson-Jerry Sally with Val Storey, The Punches Family, Brushfire and The Bailey Mountain Cloggers. Monday night we will host our 2nd Annual Bluegrass Idol Band Competition including a free dinner. Tuesday night we will host a Bluegrass Scramble with Potluck Dinner. We host eight workshops on Friday and Saturday mornings that you may attend for free. We will have Arts and Crafts on Friday and Saturday and a wide variety of food vendors to add to your experience. We have a shuttle service in the park that will carry you to and from your sites. Our facility has shade covering and a tent for the handicap with easy drop off and pick-up.
