The Oak Mountain Spring State Fair is coming to the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham April 19 - 28, 2013. This is the first year for this event and sure to be the best family event with the best value you will find anywhere! Come ride the rides, eat your favorite fair food and see some amazing bands every single night! Exciting rides and attractions, including racing pigs and alligator wrestling will be part of the First Oak Mountain Spring State Fair.

Oak Mountain Spring State Fair will showcase over 25 rides and eight Vegas Style attraction shows, along with local Birmingham bands that will perform each night in a relaxed, friendly and family environment. The 25 amusement rides are for all age patrons including, Dizzy Dragon and Spider Mania for children, while Cliff Hanger and Tilt-a-Whirl appeal more to teenagers and adults. There will be a Giant Ferris Wheel and Bumper Cars that will appeal to all festivalgoer's.

The Attraction Shows will showcase such acts as, "The Fearless Flores Thrill Show" which features members of the Flores family participating in heart stopping and thrilling shows that includes the "Globe of Death", "Wheel of Destiny" and "The Roman Trapeze." The Fearless Flores has been seen on America's Got Talent and ESPN. "Kachunga and the Alligator Show" will be at the fair all week where patrons can see up close an eight-foot alligator interacting with Kachunga and audience members. Other attraction shows throughout the week include "Global Championship Wrestling" which can been seen on CW21 Birmingham and Spike TV that features Mad Dog Dan Sawyer and The Natural Chase Stevens, and "Show Me Safari" that features a petting zoo with 75 farm animals, pony rides, and pig races. Patrons can bottle feed baby animals and hand feed the others.
