| Description: | The Alabama Chicken & Egg Festival will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 12-14, 2013. The Little Chick Pageant will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013. The Alabama Chicken and Egg Festival is a weekend event with food vendors, live entertainment on the Chicken Stage, educational exhibits, children?s activities, arts and crafts fair and much more. In previous years officials recorded more than 15,000 people in attendance. The event is organized by the Lawrence County Arts Council and made possible through the effort of more than 600 volunteers. | ||
