| Description: | Dixie Reptile Show Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex - Medical Forum Building Dixie Reptile show was started in 1996 by Terry Heuring to fill the void in the mid-south reptile market. He modeled the show after The Ohio Reptile Show started by Mike Bates, who helped Terry get Dixie Reptile Show off the ground. Terry's life long passion for reptiles lead him to a first in the herpoculture world. It is a little known fact that he was the first to produce the albino Lampropeltis ruthveni, he later sold the project to Steve OSborne, who brought the albino tri-color king snakes to the mass market. Terry has since went on to breeding many other successful projects and continuing Dixie Reptile Show. So come visit the show, you never know what you will see. | ||
