| Description: | A Brush with The Bridge Art Festival is being planned for Saturday, October 30, 2010 on The Old Railroad Bridge located over the Tennessee River at Sheffield and Florence, Alabama. The day-long event is designed to provide artists an opportunity to \"Capture the Beauty of the Shoals\" on the medium of their choice. All styles of artists are welcome and encouraged to become a part of this unique event. We are actively seeking artists who work in Oil, Watercolor, Acrylics, Pen & Ink, Pencil, Charcoal, Pastels, Film or Digital Photography. Other art forms not listed are also invited to apply. All entries will be reviewed and only those meeting our high standards will be accepted. Please bear in mind this festival is intended to be neither a \"Crafts Fair\" nor a \"Flea Market\" event. We are looking to have a genuine \"Artists Festival\" where quality works of art will be displayed and sold. So, invited all your friends to participate either by becoming an exhibitor or just joining you for a fun day on The Old Railroad Bridge. | |||
